This woman has HIV and is very ill. She has become too weak to walk. She came to the hospital to be seen for a painful rectal tear. Examination revealed fluid in her lungs, which suggests pneumonia. On top of her tear, and HIV, AND pneumonia, she also has tuberculosis. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
